Welcome to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church
| Our purpose is to glorify Jesus Christ in all that we do and to invite others to come to know Him. Whether you are a Christian looking for a church or a curious browser, we invite you to take a look at what we believe and how we express that belief in action. |

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Have we, in our Christian lives, internalized the amazing truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Paul described that truth as Christ in you, the hope of glory. We know about being born again, and we say that Jesus lives in us. But do we not only understand but also act upon what that really means?

Alpha is fast approaching! With the Celebration Supper on September 8th, we are quickly approaching the start of the course. The leadership team has been diligently working to make this one of the best Alpha cycles ever. We have decided to implement some changes that will make it easier for you to invite friends and family.

Larry and Gail Taylor are with Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC) in their Youth at the CrossRoads ministry. This ministry is aimed at "reaching communities with the Gospel through the public school systems of developing countries by responding to a felt need". This according to published material.
This is accomplished using a 30 lesson curriculum which combines Bible centered character education with abstinence based sex education, and promotes sexual abstinence before marriage and fidelity within marriage.
The following is a report is from Larry and Gail:

When I was approached by Kay Fiset to write a few lines to the parishioners here at St. Andrews I was at a loss as to what I should write. I prayed about this occasionally for over a month. I asked the Lord for his direction and inspiration but nothing seemed to fit. Just as I was about to select a subject on my own a fellow parishioner provided the subject. I was instantly struck with the thought that this was what the Lord wanted me to cover in this my first effort.

Sometimes we are in distress not because of our personal circumstances but because of people we love. A grown child appears to have rejected the Lord. A parent has cancer. The marriage of a brother or sister is breaking up. Someone has lost a job, a family is in disarray, children are suffering from their parents inability to meet their needs in the midst of stress and difficulty.
